Use this stainless steel stone to aerate chilled wort prior to fermentation or for carbonation after fermentation.
For aeration, after removing hot break out the bottom port once wort is chilled, simply sanitize the stone and bottom valve on the fermenter, then attach the stone and open the valve. Oxygen will pass through the 2 micron pores and diffuse into the wort.
Recommended aeration period is about 1 minute for 40L/10gal batches at a flow rate of about 1L/minute or 3psig. For larger tanks the duration should be longer. Gas flow meters can be installed inline that allow you to calculate the flow rate and can be purchased at the gas supply store along with a tank of O2 and regulator. Dissolved oxygen meters can also be purchased that can determine if the wort has reached the desired 8-10ppm of O2.
For carbonation, attaching the stone to the racking arm is recommended, so as to not stir up the yeast that has settled along the sides of the tank. Ensure the rack arm ferrule and the stone are sanitized before connecting, and the ferrule can be purged with CO2 but holding the stone loosely over the ferrule before connecting it tight.
Our 1/4" braided silicone hose can be used to connect to the hose barb, and a stainless hose clamp purchased to secure it.
Touching the stone is not recommended as oils can plug the tiny pores. The stone can be cleaned or sanitized by boiling in water. The stone fits to 1.5" tri-clamp ferrules and has a 1/4" hose barb.
Note: Some assembly required. Teflon plumbing tape should be snugly wrapped seven revolutions in a clockwise direction around the pipe thread on the stone, then the stone screwed into the coupling. If it still leaks when snugly tightened, a little food safe teflon pipe dope can be applied to the threads before wrapping with teflon tape.

I needed a TC Carb Stone that was short (to connect to the bottom of a Cornical Fermenter). I can now use this same stone for adding O2 into the beer as well as CO2. Good price, decent shipping cost, so all in overall the best deal I found for this. Arrived pretty quickly too, considering it came from the way Up North (Canada).
Overall my experience in using Brew Ha equipment has been very exceptional. The delivery was faster than expected and the equipment was of the highest quality. I use this oxygenation Stone in combination with mine blichmann fermenter. My objective is to maintain a closed system and oxygenate the Wort from the trub trap. This way I can achieve full oxygenation of the wart and I can apply at least four pounds of O2 to a pressurized fermenter system. This oxygenation Stone allows me to achieve my objectives which makes me very happy.
I used the stone in conjunction with a pure oxygen tank. It worked perfectly. You can actually hear it working if you put your ear to the vessel wall.
Works great. Simple, neat way to oxygenate in the fermenter before pitching yeast. Brewha keeps developing innovative, high quality tools for the home brewer. Thank you!!!
I use the wort aeration stone with every batch. I attach it to the bottom of the cone just after clearing the trub and attach a small O2 cylinder. 30 seconds of O2 bubbling through the cooled wort and I'm ready to pitch my yeast. I have airlock activity within hours.
