BREWHA BIAC brewing system

Benefits of the BREWHA BIAC brewing system

The BREWHA BIAC complete brewing system makes brewing simpler, easier, and more enjoyable — the simplest way to make the best beer.

Simpler brewing. Better beer.

A complete brewery built around one smarter vessel

The BREWHA BIAC complete brewing system makes brewing simpler, easier and more enjoyable. Ideally suited for serious home breweries, pilot breweries, small breweries, brewpubs and taprooms, BREWHA's patented system produces great tasting results while simplifying the process.

Traditional breweries use multiple vessels and pump wort between them. The BREWHA system produces wort directly in each BREWHA 5-in-1 fermentor using the removable Mash Colander. This unique brewing method has many advantages.

BIAC benefits

Why brewers choose BREWHA

Benefit 1

System design

The BREWHA BIAC delivers professional brewing performance with a fraction of the equipment. By integrating multiple brewing functions into a single vessel, it reduces the number of tanks, fittings, pumps, and connections required—making installation, brewing, cleaning, and day-to-day operation significantly simpler and more efficient.

Benefit 2

Perfect sanitation every time

Good sanitation (keeping unwanted microbes out) is the single most critical factor for producing great beer and traditionally was the hardest to achieve. But with every BIAC fermentor doubling as a boil kettle, the heat of the boil will provide perfect, chemical-free, heat sanitation in your fermentor every time. Extensive use of chemical cleaners and sanitizers are not needed as they are with other brewing systems, saving time and money, and giving you peace of mind that your beer will taste its best (and nasty chemical residues aren't in your beer)!

Benefit 3

Lowest Water Consumption

Uses 67% less water; while traditional brew systems use approximately 5-7 pints of water for every pint of beer produced, the BREWHA BIAC needs less than 2 making it havethe lowest water demand of any brewing system. With the heat of the boil sanitizing the fermentor, the extensive chemical scrubbing, cleaning, rinsing and sanitizing that wastes all that water is no longer needed. (BREWHA is passing the savings on to help families around the world, see this page for more on BREWHA's charity sponsorship.)

Benefit 4

Smallest Brewing Footprint

Mashing of grain occurs directly in the fermentor, removing the need for a separate hot liquor kettle, mash tun and boil kettle requiring up to 70% less floor space in the brewery. Customers have opened successful 30BBL breweries (6 by 5BBL) with as small as a150sf brew room.

Benefit 5

Capital Outlay

More than 30% less equipment outlay and much lower installation expense than the nearest competitor systems. Even though this amazing system is made with the highest quality industry standard components, since there are less vessels, less supporting hardware, less installation and maintenance expenses and less labor expenses, the total installation AND operating cost is less than a full, traditional 4 vessel system.

Benefit 6

Shorter brew day and lower labor cost

With less vessels to setup and cleanup, and less steps in the brewing process (e.g. transferring water/wort) a batch of wort takes up to 25% less time to produce.

Benefit 8

Scalable

With systems ranging from 20L/5gal to 1760L/15BBL, recipes developed in the small pilot systems can be easily and smoothly adapted/scaled up to commercial microbrewery production using the identical brewing methods and techniques perfected at the smaller scale.

Benefit 9

Flexibility

Can produce all types of beer as the brewer has near infinite control over the brewing process (can also be used for producing kombucha, hard seltzer and even spirits with the optional Shotgun Condensing Assembly) and with heat sanitation, styles like kettle sours can be safely brewed in the same equipment without worry of microbial cross-contamination.

Benefit 10

Full control

With a programmable controller and input over each step of the brewing process, there is maximum control over every detail in the brewing process yielding the best product and repeatability.

Benefit 11

Serves the freshest tastiest beer

Since there is no transfer (beer can be served directly from the fermentor), the BREWHA system has the least risk of oxygen and microbial exposure, ensuring that you are serving your customers the freshest, tastiest beer possible.
