These amazing on-demand commercial stainless steel draft beer chiller and dispensers chill draft beer, cold brew coffee, kombucha, sparkling water, wine or any other beverage instantly as they are being served at the bar (long lead times for chilling kegs are no longer necessary!). Much smaller than a kegerator cooler, these draft dispensing chillers and trays can fit on any bar. They are better than a kegerator as they are portable (don't need a big box for keeping kegs cold), and chill beer on demand (so don't need to wait for a couple days if the beer keg has warmed up).
And unlike a larger kegerator cooler or draft refrigeration equipment which has one temperature, with adjustable temperature control on each chiller, multiple chillers allow you to serve multiple beverages at different temperatures—ideal for beverages such as beer since different beer styles are meant to be served at different temperatures (lagers at 3C/38F and stouts at 10C/50F).
Much smaller than kegerators and more portable than a jockey box cooler or other draft equipment, these chillers can be connected with a short line to a keg for serving draft beer or coffee at brewpubs, catering, picnics or parties or can provide a perfect companion to the BREWHA 5-in-1 fermenters for serving draft beer directly from the fermenter. A few of the many benefits include:
- Precise—unlike with a common cold room cooler or kegerator or kegerator fridge bar where all beer styles are kept and poured at the same temperature, these chillers allow you to pour multiple beverages, each at their correct temperature; both taps come with adjustable flow control to precisely achieve the correct draft pour
- Powerful—they have a continuous cooling performance of 40-75pints/hr cooling from 20°C/68°F to 4°C/40°F (approximately double that flow volume for short periods if there are breaks between pours which permits the cold bank to build up); these draft systems are designed with commercial cooling and dispenser applications in mind
- Effective—a directly cooled tap means beer or coffee or other beverages stay chilled right to the glass, no loss of temperature in the lines or tap
- Portable—take them anywhere there is 120V power as a grab handle on top of the dispenser equipment enables the machine and trays to be carried and moved with ease; great for setting up on patio bar or a portable bar; much easier to move than bulky kegerators or other dispensing equipment
- Fast—since the beer is chilled in line as it passes through the chiller you don't need hours of chilling ahead of time to cool an entire keg before dispensing, it is ready for dispensing chilled beverages within 2-4 minutes of being switched on
- Rugged—being designed for professional cooling the stainless steel equipment will give years of dependable service in a bar context
- Beautiful—Equipment made with stainless steel and a stainless steel drip tray provides durability and a beautiful appearance on any bar
- Easy to clean—the beer lines can be connected to any keg cleaning equipment for quick cleaning; after turning the power off, flush the lines with warm water and an alkaline cleaner (like Beer Line or PBW), let it sit for 10 minutes then flush the cleaner out with an acid sanitizer like Star San solution before reconnecting to beer lines. Cleaning of each stainless steel line is recommended once a week for freshest tasting beer or coffee. The trays can be easily removed for cleaning and if needed, the taps can also be removed for disassembly and cleaning
- Certified—cUL electrical certification for use in Canada and the USA; NSF
These are two draft tap (adjustable flow tap, stainless steel) dispenser models, each has two adjustable taps, stainless steel drip tray, and come with an air pump for dispensing a beverage out of a keg (use of the air pump is optional but air is convenient when you will be emptying the keg within 48 hours and don't have CO2 accessible like when catering events) and either a 40 pint/hr or 75 pint/hr cooling plant (cooling from 20°C/68°F to 4°C/40°F). Line kits can be purchased here.
Note: Foam while dispensing from a tap can be caused by multiple factors such as not cleaning draft lines or equipment and improper pouring, a common cause of foam when dispensing is having gas pressure too low. For example, kegs in a cold room are often served around 15psi, but if a keg is at room temperature at the bar, the serving pressure should be increased to about 35psi to balance the reduced solubility of gas at that temperature; consult beer gas temperature/pressure charts online for more information.
Note: A Sanke coupler is not included but kits can be purchased separately as part of the 'Complete Keg to Dispenser Connecting Kit' listed above; Sanke coupler can be purchased on its own from this page, and replacement parts can be purchased from this page.)
Note: If you have a coupler already, to connect to a Sanke Keg, add the Keg to Dispenser Connecting Kit to your cart along with a Dispenser. These kits includes gas (8mm) and liquid (9.5mm) tubes and coupler adapter to connect dispenser to keg; a Sanke keg coupler is not included.
