This accurate and reliable Single Jet Water Flow Meter is useful for metering the amount of water going into your brewery brew system. It is recommended to install it in a horizontal orientation and flow rate should exceed 1L/minute for accurate reading. This flow meter connects to either a 1/2" NPT coupling, or 1.5" tri-clamp compatible ferrules. The meter has been tested and certified by WRAS for sanitary water supply and has a dial measuring precision of 0.1L and is 98.5% accurate. The meter is recommended for use with water 80°C/176°F.

The digital resettable counter option displays water volume in 1 unit increments (ie. 1USG or 10L) and has a 120cm/4' cord length and is removable (from the meter) when not in use.

Tip: Brewer Randy Calley of James Calley Brewing Co in Sapulpa, OK had an great suggestion for customers wanting to eliminate the display cord. Using some high quality silicone, he attached the display directly to the base of the flow meter like in attached photo.

I misread the meter the first time

The first time that I used the meter, I thought it wasn't working because I misread the gauge as it had Liters x 10. Once I actually figured out how to properly read the gauge I was confident about using it, and verified my input with the vessel markings a few times. it also works really well with the digital screen (read the instructions to setup properly). I've only tested this in the recommended horizontal orientation, and also have the NPT version. Looking forward to trying out the tri-clamp version. It's made from better materials (non-toxic) than other meters out there.

Recent purchase of flow meter

Brewha was quick to respond to questions on the unit and provided the level of detail needed to feel comfortable making the purchase. We've done a number of brews on a 3BBL system using this flow meter and it's worked very well. So far, so good and we had a very positive experience dealing with Brewha on this purchase.

Doesn’t Accurately Measure Waterflow

Not sure if it needs a permanent mount in a particular direction or there are minimum flow requirements for accuracy that I am below, but this thing is way off in measuring water flow for sparge water. Very disappointed.

Hi Tom, the meter needs to be installed so that water flows in the direction of the arrow on the side of the case, and as stated in the manual, for greatest accuracy it should be installed in a horizontal position with a minimum flow rate of 2L/min(~.5gal). At .5L(~1pint)/min the accuracy can be off by 5%.
