Replacement impeller for March 7S brewery pumps
This replacement impeller is made from glass-filled Kynar and includes a carbon bushing for March 7S magnetic drive brewery pumps. It is intended for brewers who need to replace a worn or damaged impeller and return their March 7S pump to dependable wort and water transfer service.
- Fits: March 7S brewery pump models used for hot water and wort transfer.
- Material: glass-filled Kynar impeller.
- Bushing: carbon bushing.
- Use case: replacement part for a worn, damaged, overheated, or dry-run affected pump impeller.
- Common application: brewery pump maintenance for March 7S magnetic drive pumps.
When to replace the impeller
The impeller may need replacement if the pump has been run dry, exposed to restricted inlet flow, used with excessive solids, or if the pump shows reduced flow, abnormal noise, vibration, or difficulty circulating liquid compared with normal operation.
Compatibility
This replacement impeller is for the March 7S brewery pump. Before ordering, confirm that your pump is a March 7S model and that the part matches the impeller style currently installed in your pump head.
This part is not intended for smaller March pump models such as the March 815 homebrew pump. If you are unsure which pump or impeller you have, contact BREWHA before ordering.
Important installation notes
- Disconnect power before opening or servicing the pump.
- Inspect the pump head, shaft, bushing area, and housing for wear or damage before reassembly.
- Make sure the pump head is clean and free from grain, solids, or debris before installing the replacement impeller.
- After installation, prime the pump fully with liquid before running.
- Never run the March 7S pump dry. Liquid is required to lubricate and cool the impeller and shaft.
Protecting the new impeller
To help prevent repeat impeller damage, always keep the inlet side unrestricted and use a 1 in or larger hose on the pump supply side. Regulate flow only on the discharge/outlet side of the pump. Do not allow large amounts of grain or solids to enter the pump hose.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the complete pump?
No. This product is a replacement impeller with carbon bushing for the March 7S pump. It is not a complete pump assembly.
Will this fit the March 815 pump?
No. This replacement impeller is for the March 7S brewery pump and is not intended for the smaller March 815 homebrew pump.
Why would an impeller need replacement?
Impellers can become worn or damaged if the pump is run dry, starved on the inlet side, exposed to debris or solids, or operated outside proper flow conditions.
Can I run the pump briefly without liquid after replacing the impeller?
No. Always prime the pump fully with water or wort before operation. Running the pump dry can damage the impeller and shaft.
How do I reduce the chance of damaging the replacement impeller?
Use an unrestricted inlet, keep solids out of the pump, use a 1 in or larger supply hose, and control flow only on the outlet side.
