This stainless steel manual keg washer with high-performance CIP spray ball provides an economical way to effectively clean kegs.
The washer can stand alone (with external water source) or be set inside a vessel such as a BREWHA fermenter and the hose connected to the inside using the 1.5" tri-clamp connecting arm. (The Large Cleaner fits in the Large fermenter and the Medium Cleaner in the Medium fermenter; either will fit inside the 120L Stainless Mash Tun and a stainless water heater and small brewery electric power controller used to heat the water) Once spears are pulled, kegs can be inverted and dropped down onto the cleaner.
The Basic Kit just comes with a short 3/4" hose to connect the Return Arm to the Cleaner. The Complete Kit also includes an approximately 2' section of 1" hose for pump return water to connect a tank to a pump, and an approximately 2' section of 3/4" hose to connect the pump outflow to the Return Arm.
When cleaning multiple kegs, it is simplest to first rinse them all by connecting the Keg Cleaner to tap water (the bottom fermenter port should have a hose ran to a drain). Once all kegs are rinsed, then the fermenter cone can be filled with water, the water heated close to boiling, and a pump connected to recirculate and heat sanitize the kegs with the hot water. (Or, if desired, an alkaline or acidic wash can be circulated through the kegs, the kegs rinsed, and a sanitizer added for the final cycle.) The based diameter is 43cm/17" (Large) and 37cm/15" (Medium), the total height is 62cm/24.5" (Large and Medium) and the distance from the platform to top of the ball is 37cm/14.5".
Note: this cleaner works best with a powerful pump such as our 1hp March 7S which can be purchased here. Smaller powered pumps might not generate sufficient force for thorough mechanical cleaning. (If a powerful pump is not available, high-pressured municipal water supply can be used for the mechanical cleaning and then a lower powered pump for the hot water sanitizing).
Note: when cleaning with a BREWHA fermenter, it is recommended to feed the pump with water from the side of the vessel (rather than bottom) to minimize fouling in the spray ball.

Does exactly what we need it to do. We use it to clean all of our kegs for for our commericial meadery. Would purchase again!
Washing kegs by hand(without the use of a pump) was a time waster and back killer! The manual keg washer saves the day and the back by speeding up the process; cranking out clean kegs at a good price point for our small scale brewery. It's nice to spend more time making beer to fill the kegs rather than washing them! Cheers, Brewha!
My overall experience with the keg washer has just been exceptional. It makes cleaning the keg very convenient especially with a small three barrel brewing system. I also found another use for the keg washer. If you turn it upside down and place it into the top of your bride tank or fermenter, it can be used as a clean in place. It has made it very convenient to use this item in our three barrel fermentors.
The manual keg washer was a clutch buy. We just opened a small 1bbl brewery and have a small fleet of kegs. Making sure we get them all clean and not spend $10k for yet another piece of hardware taking up valuable space made sense to us. We are able to fit it into our mash tun, connect it to the vorloff connection with a short T elbow, and reuse the chemicals in a nice cycle. We have the 1bbl SS Pilot System. Thank you for putting this awesome, yet simple piece of hardware out there for us to use. Cheers.
It came perfectly packaged and works amazing! Nathan and the guys at Brewha are amazing to work with!
