Sanitary Butterfly Valve

These sanitary butterfly valves are made entirely from 304 stainless steel (including the handle) and are suitable for pressures up to 50psi. These tri-clover / tri-clamp sanitary wafer style stainless butterfly valves offers excellent performance at an affordable price. Stainless steel butterfly valves are ideal for applications where there is limited clearance (such as underneath fermenters). While stainless steel butterfly valves are less easy to disassemble than our Sanitary Ball Valves, with a couple allen/hex wrenches the four securing screws and one handle screw can be removed, the valve completely disassembled and the resilient silicone sealing gasket inspected, cleaned and/or replaced. Sanitary butterfly valves are better products than our ball valve products where minimizing the valve width is helpful, such as at the bottom of a tank to preserve more room between the valve and the tank. These butterfly valves are about half the width as compared to our ball valves.

These stainless steel sanitary wafer butterfly valves have a stainless steel metal 'trigger handle' style and are suitable for air or gas or liquids. This zero-offset valve with stainless steel disc and resilient soft internal silicone gasket style fitting provides a tight contact between the stainless steel disc and sides of the gasket providing a tight seal. 

There are two sizes of products for these stainless steel sanitary tri clamp tri clover wafer butterfly valves, the smaller butterfly valve products mate to 1.5" sanitary / tri-clamp ferrules, and the larger products mate with 2" sanitary / tri-clamp ferrules. The valves have manual actuation.
