Use this sanitary pressure and vacuum relief valve (PRV) to help ensure pressure and vacuum do not exceed the design tolerance of the stainless conical jacketed fermenter and 4-in-1 conical fermenters. Adjustable pressure can be set to release pressure at desired pressure, and will break a vacuum.
Connects to a 1.5" tri-clamp compatible port.
Warning: before each use ensure that the relief valve is operating as designed and that it is releasing pressure and breaking a vacuum as intended. A 1.5" Tee with pressure gauge, 1/4" coupling, and Gas in Post can be used to confirm accuracy against a pressure regulator.

Coupled to the sanitary filter which is included with this, the pressure and vacuum release valve gives a great piece of mind that eliminates the potential for any damage. Very reasonable insurance for the BIAC.
