Commercial Hot Liquor Tank + Cold Liquor Tank

These dual purpose insulated Hot Liquor Tank HLT and Cold Liquor Tank CLT for 3 BBL, 5 BBL, 7 BBL, 10 BBL, and 15 BBL brewing systems are the world's most versatile hot and cold liquor/water storage tanks.

Including both ports for water heaters as well as water jackets (for cooling media), these tanks can be used for heating mash and sparge water, pre-heating for a boil kettle, or for chilling cold water to help complete post-boil knock down. These tanks have two 3" ferrules for heaters, as well as two independent, vertical jacket zones to which up to two of our brewery chillers can be connected for chilling overnight.

Note: The 600L/5 BBL tank comes with casters, the larger tanks come with adjustable foot pads.

It includes:

• Solid 304SS construction 
• a sensor port (ETC, heaters and power controller not included and can be purchased separately)  
• Water gauge sight glass in L and USG
• Analogue temperature gauge
• Dual zone water jacket (can accommodate two of our 6500BTU water chillers for combined 13000BTU rapid cooling between batches)
• Separate jacket in base can be connected to low pressure steam for heating if needed
• two 1.5" lid ports for filling the tank (a float switch is not included but can be connected to an RO or other filter for automatic filling of the tank)
  
• one large 12" access port
• butterfly valves; clamps and fittings
• four casters and a push bar on 600L/130USG; larger tanks have adjustable footpads for levelling before using anchor bolts to fix to the floor
• 1.5-2" chloride-free polyurethane insulation

• ETC tank temperature sensor and controller to monitor tank temperature to drive cooling pumps or close heater contacts or heating solenoids (if using tank for just cooling one or two are recommended to drive one or two water chillers)
• Stainless electric brewery water heaters for heating water; this tank comes with two 3" element ports and two 3x2" cap reducers to accommodate up to two 5.5kW or 9.5kW (3 phase) heaters
  
• Brewery electric touchscreen power controller (3 phase) can be used instead of an ETC and tabletop controller for more precise and powerful programmable control for heating 
• Water Chillers to crash the water temperature near freezing.
