I am very excited to be announcing today the launching of our fifth generation brewing system. Our goal at BREWHA is to bring you the world’s best small and medium sized brewery equipment and we have made a number of advancements over the years that have resulted in an ever-improved and simpler brewing system that provides you with the simplest way to brew the best beer.

The BREWHA BIAC system is used by hundreds of customers all around the world to make fantastic beer. It is the only brewing system in the world that is a true one-vessel system that uses the heat of the boil to sanitize the fermenter, avoiding the need for and expense of nasty sanitizing chemicals. And of course it comes with the smallest footprint, lowest capital outlay, and is the only system where the entire lid comes off, facilitating cleaning as well as having utility for making other beverages such as kombucha.

The three major improvements in our newest model that I’ll show you today are focused on efficiencies that reduce operating costs as well as making it easier for you to serve the freshest, tastiest product possible. First, these improvements will make the addition of hops or other additives easier; second they will make temperature regulation easier and more cost-effective, and third, they provide a means for more rapid cool down of wort. Let’s take a closer look.

The first new feature is that we have included a second 6” ferrule in the lid, which makes adding boil hops or other additions that much easier when the center port is connected to our steam vent or steam condenser for venting during the boil. We have also positioned it here near the front so it is easier to access.

The second new feature is that we have added permanent insulation and a third layer of stainless steel outside the insulation. This permanent insulation enables a reduction in electrical consumption when heating or cooling (as less is lost to the room) which is particularly helpful when crashing beer or when the brewery is in a hot or humid climate. The insulation also makes serving beer directly from our fermentor that much easier and cost effective as the beer can be easily kept at serving temperature. For more on serving beer directly from the tank it was brewed in, watch this video, as well as other videos on our website filmed on location with customers who are serving direct from their BREWHA fermentors.

And the third new feature is that we have added an additional 1.5” ferrule just below the maximum brew volume. This allows the option to utilize one of our plate chillers to rapidly cool wort post-boil. Just using the fermentor jacket by itself for cooling works in many situations. However, where tap water is too warm for effective chilling, or a brewer wants a faster chill, this port makes it possible and easy to achieve. In all of our sizes, including our 15BBL/1700L 5-in-1s, the wort can be chilled in under an hour using our plate chiller and cold liquor tank. For more on how to achieve rapid knock down using a BREWHA plate chiller, see this video.

I am very excited about these features we have added to the BREWHA BIAC brewing system and how they will assist you in producing and serving the freshest, most fantastic beer possible! For more information or to ask us a question, visit our website at brewha.com
